Learning
Academy offers full service childcare to children six
weeks to twelve years old. We provide the highest quality care and
education to all the children in the center. Lil’ Treasures is committed
to providing an outstanding educational program through the combined
efforts of students, parents, staff, and community. We believe all
students have the ability to learn. Students must develop skills in
reading, math, art, science, and technology in order to function
effectively in society. And they must strive to achieve a safe
environment that nurtures, enables and challenges individuals to achieve
their full potential.
Quality supervision, interaction and educational programs that will
develop children socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually
will be provided for all age groups to help prepare them for future
challenges. We emphasize a safe, caring atmosphere that fosters the
development of our children's self esteem. Our plan is to help children
develop a positive self image when given the opportunities to make
choices and experience success. Our early childhood educational programs
are designed for children to learn the freedom of exploration through
activities in fine and gross motor areas and development of their own
skills. Most importantly, at the heart of every project and activity,
there's a specially trained teacher and an age-appropriate curriculum to
lead the way. Because children learn differently than adults, they need
hands-on experiences, get-on-the-floor teachers and warmth and
attention. They need enthusiasm and encouragement. Most of all, they
need the joy and challenge of doing it themselves. While children are
blossoming in their achievement, parents are able to share in every
experience and have complete peace of mind when their children are in
our care by allowing the parents a constant "view" of their children
throughout the day with the cutting edge of technology - Internet
accessible cameras in each classroom.
